Legacy Sign Group Hosts 4th Annual Sign Manufacturing Day October 3, 2025

Partnering with Duneland Chamber of Commerce to Inspire the Next Generation of Sign Professionals

Westville, IN — 8/15/25 — Legacy Sign Group is proud to announce its participation in Sign Manufacturing Day 2025 on Friday, October 3, 2025. Organized each year by the International Sign Association, this nationwide initiative invites signage providers to open their doors to local students—offering a behind-the-scenes look at the diverse and rewarding career paths within the signage industry.

This marks Legacy Sign Group’s 4th year hosting the event, which last year welcomed 111 students from across Porter and LaPorte Counties. High school students will once again have the chance to explore hands-on opportunities and discover careers in areas such as:

  • Sales & Marketing
  • Design
  • Estimating & Engineering
  • Installation (Construction focus)
  • Metal Fabrication & Welding
  • CNC Routing
  • Assembly & Finishing
  • Color Theory with our in-house painter
  • Basic Electrical Theory

The day will feature industry partners (to be announced soon) who will bring additional expertise and opportunities to the students. Legacy Sign Group is excited to again partner with the Duneland Chamber of Commerce, and Ivy Tech will be returning with their Learning Lab to assist students in exploring classes, certification programs, and even offer some fun through virtual reality experiences.

“Our goal is to pass the torch to the next generation, get them excited about our industry, show them what we have to offer,” said Shaun Ensign, COO of Legacy Sign Group. “This event gives students a chance to see that signage is more than just signs... it’s a dynamic, creative, booming industry with opportunity for people of many talents.”

Parents or students who are interested in participating should contact their school administrators or teachers to make them aware. Teachers who believe they have a group of students that would benefit from learning about the signage industry are encouraged to notify their administrators so interest can be gauged.
